Turin, 4th April 2017 – From outside the home to the home channel: the Lavazza stand at Cibus Connect (Hall 5 Stand I 030) meets the needs of national and international buyers from every sector and offers a wide range of products from the Turin company that has acquired expertise, mastery and quality in coffee in all its forms for over 120 years.
The soul of Lavazza’s “Ho.Re.Ca.” offering will be represented by the fine ¡Tierra! Origins blends, with an intense flavour and sustainable quality, because they come from certified Rainforest Alliance farms which adhere to rigorous social and environmental criteria. The best Brazilian selections used to produce these blends offer the perfect combination of taste from the country of origin in every cup. The constant attention to quality and the pursuit of a pleasurable taste experience, sustainability and respect for the environment, produced these extraordinary products, the direct result of Lavazza's commitment to the coffee-growing communities through the ¡Tierra! sustainability project.
At the heart of the Lavazza retail offer will be the A Modo Mio,home espresso system which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The innovative Jolie coffee machine, the latest model in the system, will be specifically representing the range. Compact, quiet and beautifully designed, Jolie was created for those who want to enjoy coffee which is “as good at home as at the coffee bar”, and who seek absolute quality and excellent performance with the utmost ease of use.
The quality of the coffee is guaranteed by Lavazza. A wide range of A Modo Mio capsules will be available at the fair, with fine blends to satisfy all tastes. From the selection of the best origins of coffee to roasting and grinding, from pressing to self-sealing and vacuum packaging, each phase is guaranteed by the expertise of Lavazza, and the pledge to bring consumers the pleasure of a perfect espresso every time. In addition, this year the range has been enhanced with new capsules dedicated to Great Lavazza Classics: Qualità Rossa, Qualità Oro e Crema e Gusto. These iconic blends, which represent not only the Turin company’s legendary expertise in the art of blending, but also the aromas that generations of Italian coffee enthusiasts have enjoyed, can now also be tasted in the espresso version.
Every day at 10.30pm and 3:00pm, the Lavazza stand will be staging cooking demonstrations, with exclusive coffee-based recipes developed and prepared by experts from the Lavazza Training Centre - the organisation that has been delivering training since 1979, a real coffee school with over 50 locations in five continents to promote and protect the culture of authentic Italian espresso. It will be an opportunity to taste Lavazza’s version of “bicerin” (a traditional Turin drink made from coffee, chocolate and milk) presented as a cold brew with coffee cream, espresso cream flavoured with hazelnut and caramel or the orange cold brew range.
