Quality, innovation and design for an espresso of excellence


Paris, March 2017 – The consolidated expertise gained over 120 years of continuous coffee experimentation and breaking of new ground in automatic systems are the hallmarks of Lavazza's participation at Vending Paris, from 15th-17th March in Pavilion 5.1 of the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Park.



Lavazza’s presence at Vending Paris confirms its renewed commitment to vending/OCS, a segment that it has overseen and has helped to develop with its innovations since 1989. Today, over 2.5 million Lavazza machines and systems are installed worldwide. More recently, we added the Firma system, a feature at Vending Paris and completely redesigned for its launch on the French market, with four new models that will be appear for a special preview. The new products focus on compactness, quality performance and design, all Made in Italy, for those who want to bring the excellence of Lavazza coffee into offices of any size. The added value of the Turin company’s product range is also provided by the use of the machines for multi-beverage consumption and milk-based beverages and special, self-sealed capsules that preserve all the aroma of coffee.


The Lavazza stand will also take professionals in the sector on a journey of discovery of the areas of taste: Aromatico, Equilibrato and Intenso, through the blends of the Expert range of beans for OCS/vending. It is presented with a new name, references certified by the NGO Rainforest Alliance and an exclusive aesthetic to emphasise the premium approach of Lavazza dedicated to the sector.



Visitors will be guided by experts from the Lavazza Training Centre, a centre that has been devoted to training and product innovation since 1979, and which today is a widespread network with over 50 locations worldwide. It is committed to spreading and preserving the culture of coffee. New and original recipes based on coffee are created here as a result of continuous product research and experimentation, often in collaboration with the most accredited chefs in top international gastronomy.



On Stand D35 in Pavilion 5.1, operators will be able to see Lavazza’s full range of automatic distribution systems that are increasingly rich in innovative features to meet all the needs of professionals in the sector, guaranteed by a leading company that has spread the excellence of authentic Italian espresso throughout the world.



The main new product features that will be shown at the fair are:



The OCS “Firma” capsule system machine has a compact, modern design that combines high performance and ease of use with a touch screen display that, in the standard version, allow users to select four pre-set preparations (espresso, lungo, ristretto and free dose), and six in the Milk version (with milk and cappuccino). Available from October.




The perfect solution for small users, even more compact and equally hi-tech, with a touch screen display that allows users to dispense three different types of coffee (espresso, lungo and free dose). Available from October.




The most compact in the range: for the best coffee even in the smallest of spaces; espresso or the desired length. Available from November.




The Firma capsule system range has been extended with new entries “Espresso Gustoso”, 100% Arabica, Rainforest Alliance certified “Espresso Vivace”, and a range of long coffees for the foreign market offering the same flavours in the espresso range for a perfect result in longer beverages.




The new semi-automatic, table-top vending machine, with its small size and exclusive features, is the ideal solution for smaller and medium-sized areas. We offer a full range of services, dispensing Espresso Based Beverages and integrating the most common payment systems, to meet the need for safety by operators and maximise the profitability of the location.




Designed for all those who want to savour coffee bar specialties without leaving the office, from creamy cappuccinos to exquisite hot chocolates from a machine that combines a professional look with high performance. The innovative extraction mode and sealed single-dose capsules guarantee authentic Italian espresso: creamy, aromatic, impeccable, anytime, anywhere.




Thanks to its world-famous art of Master Blending Lavazza has selected the best quality beans and prepared eight premium coffee blends which were developed specially to offer an extraordinary result in Beans to Cup machines or vending machines. Three areas of taste are available: Aromatico (provided by “Aroma Top”, certified Rainforest Alliance, “Aroma Più” and the new “Aroma Classico”, an extraordinary blend of 100% Arabica) Equilibrato (“Crema Classica”, “Crema e Aroma” and the new “Crema Ricca” blend, with a sustainable taste certified UTZ) and Intenso (“Gusto Pieno” and “Gusto Forte”). After their debut at Venditalia 2016, they will be at Vending Paris in a new, elegant and exclusive packaging.

All the taste of authentic Lavazza quality espresso and the guarantee of an excellent and constant result in the cup thanks to the pre-dosed capsule, packaged in a protective atmosphere to retain the freshness and aroma of the best Lavazza blends. Lavazza BLUE single-dose capsules consist of a wide selection of excellent blends ready to satisfy every taste, from the richest and most intense espresso to the sweetest, decaffeinated coffee, and from an excellent cappuccino to a delicate long coffee. The self-sealed capsule for the Lavazza BLUE, also available for vending machines, enables users to taste a product of excellence at home, in the office, in small and medium areas and also in more spacious environments, such as railway or underground stations.
