It is possible to use all coffee bean brands. However, Lavazza Assoluta, thanks to its Perfect Bean Match technology, ensures the perfect cup result when using Lavazza beans, adjusting its settings to match the characteristics of these coffee blends.
Can I only use Lavazza coffee beans?
It is a special technology created by Lavazza that allows the machine to recognise Lavazza coffee blends by easily scanning the barcode on the package. This enables the machine to adapt all its settings to deliver the best in-cup result for a specific blend.
To activate the technology, the machine must be connected to the Lavazza App.
This technology has been designed to work with Lavazza coffee blends specifically.
What is the Perfect Bean Match technology?
The grinder setting is the adjustment of the coffee grind size (fine grind or coarse grind), which can be set using a special lever inside the compartment where the coffee beans are inserted.
What is the grinder setting and what is it for?
You'll find the grind selector lever in the compartment where the coffee beans are placed. It allows you to adjust the grind size, depending on the type of coffee you’re preparing. Whether it's an espresso or a long coffee, Lavazza has 2 settings that will grind your favourite cup. Choose:
- Fine grind for espresso coffees
- Coarse grind for long coffees
When you scan the barcode on your Lavazza beans, the Perfect Bean Match technology will select the best setting for the Lavazza blend you're using.
