Challenge yourself with the preparation of the most famous and sumptuous coffee cocktail.
The espresso Martini is one of the most famous coffee cocktail recipes invented.
It may seem like a complicated cocktail, but it isn’t. All that is required is a few key quality ingredients.
As one of Lavazza’s favorite coffee cocktails, we have perfected the recipe just for you, so you can impress your friends at your next dinner party.
Created in the 1990s by the late bartender Dick Bradsell, the Espresso Martini is one of the defining figures of the bar scene in its time.
Well, the Espresso Martini works well on its own for all these occasions, since it brings together the versatility of coffee and the excitement of liquors and vodka. Rich and creamy, the liqueur is sweet while the coffee gives this recipe a rich depth, and the vodka delivers that necessary kick you need during parties.
The ideal type of coffee for this recipe is a full-bodied and intense blend, such as the ¡Tierra! Bio Organic from Central and South America, whose dark roast leaves a soft and pleasant chocolaty aftertaste.
Moka pot
Shaker
Martini glass
1 fl oz coffee
1 fl oz vodka
1 fl oz hazelnut liquor

1 teaspoon sugar
0.2 oz chocolate
1. Prepare an espresso and add sugar.
2. Place the ice, the sweetened coffee, the vodka and the Frangelico in the shaker.
3. Shake well and pour the contents into a Martini glass.
4. Cut the chocolate in half and then use a knife to make an incision: use this to fit it on the rim of the cup.
A party cocktail, a luxurious digestif or a night-time drink? No one is quite sure; all we know is that we absolutely love it.
